At The Bridal Gift Box we have decided to support the dedicated work of The Rhema Partnership.
Q: How do we propose to do this?
A: By donating a percentage of our profits directly to this cause in an attempt to help change as many lives as possible.
Q: Why the Rhema Partnership?
A: Because of direct family involvement with the charity. There is nothing more compelling than hearing from someone who has actually been to India, met the person they sponsor and witnessed first hand the difference it has made to their life. Truly inspirational!
The Rhema Partnership
Orphaned Children
The Rhema Partnership is currently supporting 130 orphaned children but there are many more in need.
The cost is £150 a year for each child, which provides them with education, health care and a living allowance.
Learning Disabilities
The Rhema Partnership currently supports 30 children with learning difficulties in two special schools founded by Bishop Samuel in Cumbum and Theni.
These are the only two special schools in the district and therefore there is great demand for more places.
£200 covers the cost for each child being supported.
Old Age
Many elderly people live in abject poverty as there is little welfare provision in India.
The Rhema Partnership currently supports an Old Age Peoples Home in Melur and is urgently looking for further funding to open more homes.

Health Care Camps
The Rhema Partnership supports Health Care Camps in poor rural villages where doctors and nurses are paid to give free check-ups and distribute medication.
The Board of the Rhema Partnership have three goals over the next two years:
To Raise £10,000 to build an essential dining hall and boys hostel in the Rhema Garden. At the moment 67 people are resident in the garden and the buildings are not adequate.
To submit a proposal to large grant making organisations for a primary Health Care Centre, based in the Rhema Garden. £200,000 would establish a primary health care centre that would serve many rural villages which have no health care provision.
Increase support by individual donors. The main basis of their support comes from generous individuals in the UK whose gifts support children, students and pastors in their work. They long for this basis of support to grow.
